What care services are available?
Every person’s care and support needs are different, so we organise services to suit you. Home Care Packages are also designed to be flexible, particularly as your needs change or increase over time. We provide a variety of care and support services based on your package level and needs.
Nursing Services
such as wound care, medication administration, cognitive assessments, and SPC and female IDC catheter care
Help with meals and nutrition
such as preparing meals, grocery shopping, and referrals to nutritionists
Help with referrals to allied health professionals
such as podiatry, physiotherapy, and occupational therapy
Help with cleaning and other support services
such as gardening, home maintenance/modifications, and domestic assistance
Help with mobility and product orders
such as mobility aids, wound care and incontinence products
Help with daily living and social activities
such as in-house respite, transports and social group activities
Help with personal hygiene and grooming
such as showering, bed baths, dressing and shaving
Ongoing assessment of your care needs
to check if your requirements have changed
What is NOT included?
As part of the terms of the Home Care Package, you cannot use your funding for:
- general life costs that you would have to pay regardless of your age, such as buying food, or paying for insurance, rates or holidays
- accommodation costs, such as mortgage payments or rent, and home upkeep costs
- payment of home care fees
- any fees for things already subsidised by the Australian Government, such as dentures or hearing aids
- any services already covered by the Medicare Benefits Schedule or the Pharmaceutical Benefits Scheme
- cash payments for things like gift vouchers or transferring funds.
Funding and eligibility
The Australian Government’s Home Care Package can be used to subsidise our care services in your home.
There are 4 levels of care based on individual care needs.
Level 1
Basic care needs
Level 2
Low care needs
Level 3
Intermediate care needs
Level 4
High care needs

Getting started
Once you have been approved for Home Care Package services, you can contact us to work through the best mix of services to meet your needs. You will need a unique referral code from My Aged Care.
We will then visit you in your home. We are happy to talk with you, your family and friends, and other carers to find what you need and when you need it.
